About
The Version of You Everyone Else Sees
You’re the one who handles it. The one who shows up on time, remembers everyone’s birthday, keeps the household running, and answers “I’m fine” so automatically you barely notice you’re saying it anymore. From the outside, it looks like you have it together.
But you know what’s actually happening underneath. The 2am replay of a conversation that went fine. The pit in your stomach before your phone even lights up. The exhausting habit of running through every worst-case scenario before it’s even had the decency to happen. Maybe it’s grief you’ve never really had space to feel. Maybe it’s the quiet ache of infertility that no one around you seems to know how to talk about. Maybe it’s a relationship where you’re lonelier than you ever expected to be.
Whatever it is, you’ve probably gotten remarkably good at carrying it alone.
You Don’t Need Someone to Tell You to Relax
If “just relax” or “try not to worry so much” actually worked, you wouldn’t still be looking for help. You don’t need another person telling you to think positive or push through it. You need someone who actually understands the weight of what you’re carrying, and won’t rush you past it.
That’s where I come in.
Meet Jill Giuliano, LCSW — Anxiety & Relationship Therapist in Westfield, NJ

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a master’s degree from Rutgers University School of Social Work, and I’ve been in private practice in Westfield, NJ since 2004, over 20 years now of sitting with people through some of the hardest, most tender parts of their lives. I started as Jill Giuliano, LCSW, and in 2018 gave the practice its own name: Inspired Life Changes.
My formal training helps me support people through anxiety, infertility, grief and loss, and relationship difficulties, among many other painful life situations. I draw on evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, and adapt them to fit you specifically, not the other way around.
But training and education are the bare minimum of what you should expect from a therapist. What actually shapes how I work with people is something you can’t get from a classroom: life itself.
Whether we’re talking about anxiety, grief, infertility, or a relationship that isn’t working the way you hoped, I meet you with real, lived understanding of how heavy these things can be, not just clinical knowledge of them. I won’t presume to know your exact path. But I can tell you that you don’t have to explain the weight of it before we can get to work. I already understand that world.
You Don’t Have to Keep Carrying This Alone
This may be the first time you’ve reached out to a therapist. If so, good for you. And it’s okay if you feel awkward about it. I’ll do my best to help with that part. I can’t promise the road ahead will be painless, healing rarely is, but I can promise you won’t be figuring it out by yourself anymore.
Email or call me. We’ll have a short, low-pressure conversation and get you started toward a life that feels less like something you’re just getting through.
