Teletherapy
Same Jill, Different Format
Don’t let distance, a packed schedule, or just not wanting to sit in traffic get in the way of good therapy. Teletherapy means you get the exact same support, the same approach, and the same me, just without needing to leave your house, your office, or even your car during a quiet moment between meetings.
Whether you’re brand new to the idea of therapy or you’ve done in-office therapy before, teletherapy can work just as well. We can meet by video or by phone, whichever you prefer, either works for me. We still set goals, dig into what’s really going on, and build strategies together exactly the way we would in my office. The only thing that changes is where you’re sitting.
Why Clients Choose Teletherapy
Convenience that actually fits your life. No commute, no traffic on Route 22, no finding parking. Just log on from wherever you are, and we get started.
Privacy on your terms. Sessions happen through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform, so your conversations stay exactly as private as they would be in my office.
Consistency, even on hard weeks. Sick kid at home? Working from a hotel room on a business trip? Just don’t have it in you to get in the car? Teletherapy means a hard week doesn’t have to mean skipping the support you need most.
It’s just as effective. Research consistently shows that teletherapy produces outcomes comparable to in-person therapy for most concerns, including anxiety, relationship difficulties, and grief. This isn’t a lesser version of therapy, it’s simply a different format.
What You’ll Need
Not much. A private space where you won’t be interrupted, a phone or computer with a camera and microphone, and a stable internet connection. That’s it. No special app to download, no complicated setup.
Who Teletherapy Is a Good Fit For
Teletherapy works well for clients throughout New Jersey, whether you’re local to Westfield or further away and unable to make it into the office regularly. It’s also a great option if you’re simply someone who thinks and opens up more easily from the comfort of your own space, some people genuinely do their best work in therapy from their own couch.
Let’s Get Started
You’ve already taken the hardest step by looking into this. Now all that’s left is reaching out. Call, text, or email me, and we’ll have a conversation about what you’d like to work on, no matter where you’re sitting when we do.
