If everything was going well, you wouldn’t be here. This isn’t how you imagined things would be, and you might be worried that this is as good as it’s going to get.

It doesn’t seem like everyone around you struggles as much as you do, and you can barely stand the endless stream of smiling faces, families and babies on Facebook because you feel like your life is so different.

Whether you’ve been struggling for years or you’re grappling with a new stressful situation, there are roads out of your discomfort. You just can’t see them yet. And that’s where I come in.

I wouldn’t say I’m going to be an expert in your life. It’s your life, not mine.

Therapy with me is kind of like having a copilot.

You are absolutely the driver, and my job is to help you learn by pointing out things that help you navigate better. You already know that I can’t make your boss kinder, your family less wacky, or your kids listen more.

What I can do is help you learn to change your thinking and try new approaches to these situations that make them easier to handle.
